is veterinary nutritionist at the Yumax Consulting Group in Belgium. He was raised in Belgium on a farrow-to-finish swine facility with on-farm feed manufacturing and an own swine-breeding programme. He studied veterinary medicine at Ghent University where he had the unique opportunity to participate in domestic and international internships, in specialised agricultural facilities as well as in veterinary practices, laboratories and in the genetics- and feed industry. Later on he studied different courses involving management, nutrition and feed formulation in the Netherlands and Germany. Because of the need for independent technical advice in the swine industry, he founded Yumax Consulting Group, where he works as a veterinary nutritionist.
