Pig group calling on consumers to boycott major retailer in Australia
Coles, a supermarket chain in Australia may be under threat as the Victorian Farmers Federation pig group is attempting to reel in consumers to boycott the chain.
The call on consumers comes following the claim that Coles is not supporting Australian Farmers.
According to a report, pig producers say that Coles is selling imported bacon as 'Made in Australia'. There are beliefs that the sow stall ban is a way the supermarket chain is discriminating against Australian producers.
The sow stall ban not applying to imports is also stirring up some anger in the pig producers.
