Betagro launches joint venture

Under its newly established three joint-venture company with Japan’s Itoham Foods Inc and Ajinomoto Co (Thailand), Betagro Public Company, will manufacture processed ham and sausages products in Thailand.

This was announced by Vasit Taepaisitphongse, president of the newly formed Itoham Betagro Foods Co, which has a registered capital of 172 million baht, and a sales projection of 510 million baht by 2012, primarily from exports to Japan.
