Lignocellulose – fresh wood as dietary fibre

Dietary fibre is an important feed ingredient in animal production. Many different fractions of fibre components, like hemicelluloses, pectins and lignin, influence the digestive process. Lignocellulose made from fresh wood is a relatively new feedstuff and could be a very valuable dietary fibre source for animal nutrition.
