Ideagro begins operations in Brazil with the opening of Agricultural Research Center
Spanish agricultural R&D company Ideagrois expanding internationally with its first research center outside Europe, opening Ideagro Brazil at Uningá University in Maringá, Paraná. Supported by Alltech Crop Science, the center will conduct physical, chemical, and biological analyses. In its first year, Ideagro will invest over USD 1 million in research, development, and product registration in Brazil.
Renaissance BioScience partners with Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization
Renaissance BioScience has partnered with the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization. This collaboration was awarded US$600,000 by the Saskatchewan Agricultural Development Fund and will target 2 diseases, as well as immune system function, in pigs and piglets using Renaissance’s yeast-based technology.
DSM-Firmenich partners with Bureau Veritas and with Allix
DSM-Firmenich Animal Nutrition & Health is working with Bureau Veritas Solutions Denmark to promote sustainability in animal protein production by verifying its Sustell LCA platform for measuring emissions and supporting sustainable practices. DSM-Firmenich is also partnering with Allix (by A-Systems) to measure and manage the environmental footprint of animal feed using Sustell.
Poulpharm and Mercolab partner
Mercolab, a Latin American veterinary diagnostics provider, has partnered with Belgian research firm Poulpharm BV to expand R&D in Latin America. Together, they will support veterinary pharma and feed companies with local trials, international standards, and faster innovation through shared expertise and infrastructure.
