Vion will extend and modernise its pig slaughterhouse in the South German town Vilshofen. The cooling capacities will be doubled and the truck wash facility will be upgraded to a more modern one.
The costs will be around €5 million. With these enlargement of the plant, the slaughter capacity will be increased from 15,000 to 18,000 pigs per week.
