USA: New retail pork web site launched

The US National Pork Board (NPB) has launched a new retail web site,, providing research, meat industry insights, marketing promotions calendar and other tools that will help retailers drive meat department sales.

The site©format was created based on feedback from retailers who were looking for regular industry updates and ideas for supporting pork promotions.

Site highlights:
• Generic seasonal point-of-sale – The NPB designs seasonally appropriate point-of-sale materials. The merchandising kits include a meat case sign, recipe brochure and poster. All material is available as PDF.

• Industry information – Retailers looking for updates on the latest news in the industry can visit the site to stay informed.

• Research – Understanding consumer shopping habits, sales and volume trends, and creative merchandising opportunities is essential for effectively marketing at the meat case.
