At a pig farm in Taiwan, Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) has been found, according to OIE reports.

The contamination was found during a routine control at a market. All 150 animals at the farm have been culled and 1 km around the farm is controlled more strictly from now on.

The type of FMD is not known yet. In China and Japan, FMD outbreaks are of the type O.
