“Pork production increased by 8%, the same figures are observed for beef, while the production of poultry meat increased by 12%, said the minister. However, in the first half of the year there was a slight decrease in the production of milk”

According to Skrynnik, the current situation in the country allows Russian farmers to increase their meat production, while the government will help them provide money for 156 investment projects in construction of large livestock facilities, with the total cost of 201.2 Russian billion rubles (EUR 8 bln).
