Oklahoma processor recalls cooked ham

12-06-2009 | |

Approximately 2.68 million lbs. of fully cooked ham products are being recalled by Sigma Processed Meats Inc. because they contain monosodium glutamate (MSG) and it is undeclared on the label, according to the Food Safety and Inspection Service.

The fully cooked ham products were produced on March 1 through June 9, 2009, and were distributed to retail stores, service delis and wholesale distributors. The company discovered the problem and the FSIS has received no reports of illness due to consumption of these products.
