Niche pork resource developed for consumers

The US-based National Pork Checkoff Board has developed a tool which is now online for retailers to educate consumers and promote niche pork products.

‘Niche pork’ encompasses terms such as locally grown, natural, organic and free range pork products.

A fact sheet and posters are available for retailers to assist them and their employees to understand the meaning of ‘niche pork’ and to transmit this to their customers.

Through the website –  – retailers can contact local niche pork producers and processors.
