New exhibition on animal health and feed additives in Asia

28-12-2009 | |

NCC Exhibition Organizers (NEO) together with VNU Exhibition Europe (VNU) introduce Animal Health, Feed & Additives Asia 2010 (AHFA Asia 2010) – the first dedicated showpiece for the animal health, feed and the additive business in Asia.

The event will take place on March 1-3, 2010, at the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ms. Ladda Mongkolchaivivat, General Manager at NEO, said that, “the main objective of the event is to offer trade opportunities for the animal health, feed & additives business in Asia.

“This sector has undergone significant growth over the past few years which are in tandem with rising concern over food safety and animal health management in Asia – these following epidemics such as bird flue and swine flue.”

“AHFA Asia 2010 will be an ideal meeting place for industry professionals in the Asian animal health, feed and additives industry to network, exchange business information and pick the brains of renowned manufacturers and experts,” she said.

Exhibition profile
The AHFA Asia 2010 exhibit profile includes the following: pharmaceutical firms, animal health producers and suppliers, feed production technology, processing and automation, feed ingredients, additives, premixes and nutrition suppliers, animal nutrition manufacturers, raw materials and agriculture feed producers and, finally, suppliers.

AHFA Asia 2010 looks to be a must-attend industrial event for almost everyone connected to the Asian livestock industry: nutritionists, feed formulators, veterinarians, food technologists, food safety inspectors, breeders, farmers, hatchery men, government advisory & inspection personnel, academic staff, consultants & advisors plus, of course, industry executives.

Mongkolchaivivat stresses that AHFA Asia 2010 is in cooperation with NCC Exhibition Europe. This is no surprise, as these two livestock event organizers share the same optimism regarding the future for animal health, feed and additives within Asia.

They both also recognize the great need and rising demand for an established platform for the industry.

“Shortly after the event was announced, 40% of exhibition space was booked by companies from Singapore, Thailand and China alone,” boasted Ms. Ladda. “This demonstrates the pressing need for an event such as AHFA Asia 2010,” she added.

The event is supported by Animal Health Product Association and VNU Exhibition Europe.
