Man arrested with drunken pig
Italian police in Verona were called on to rescue a young piglet of barely a few months old from the hands of a drunken man.
Several witnesses had called the police having seen the man pushing the pig around the streets of Verona in a children’s pram and forcing the animal to drink beer.
Both man and pig were taken into the police station, where the pig was given time to sober up before being handed over to animal rescue representatives. The man of German origin has been charged with animal abuse.
