Feed additive producer back on track
Specialty chemicals company Perstorp is back on full capacity production of its calcium formate Prosid CF30.
Full capacity production has been somewhat difficult over the last couple of months due to a dust explosion in the company’s production plant in Bruchhausen, Germany, in the beginning of September 2006. This affected the calcium formate production.
Calcium formate is used as an additive in many livestock mix feeds.
