Rectified article: ‘How to stop PEDv?’
Despite having taken much care during writing, a factual error has been made during composing the article ‘How to stop PEDv’, published in the most recent edition of Pig Progress.
When summing up countries where Porcine Epidemic Diarrhoea virus (PEDv), by accident the country Chile was mentioned as well. This is not correct.
As is supported by data supplied by e.g. the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), Chile has so far been remained free from PED virus.
