In this 58th episode of the Real P3 podcast, Dr Casey Bradley speaks to Josh Oelker and Travis Olson from Hale to talk about new technologies in air purification and how they benefit the swine industry to control airborne pathogens.

The Real P3 podcast series is an initiative where pork professionals from around the globe share their thoughts, insights, and solutions to their day-to-day challenges in the pig farming and production industry.

Oelker and Olson also discuss the 2 types of negative and positive pressures and flow rate and what that means in design, and they explain the importance of cleaning the air coming into the barn but also going out.

Dr Bradley asks about the pros and cons of filtration and ways to mitigate air contamination when the doors are opened, and how the good and bad of new technologies and how they fit into ventilation and filtration.

Oelker and Olson further discuss with Bradley their ideas to control diseases and odours in and around hog barns.
