In her role with Manitoba Pork, Jenelle Hamblin works closely with industry and government partners to advance swine health provincially, nationally, and internationally. She is passionate about creating opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange and relationship building with a goal of continuous learning and improvement within the industry. Her portfolio of work consists of programming related to biosecurity, surveillance, foreign animal disease preparedness, wild pigs, and emergency management and response. Shee holds a bachelor of science in microbiology and a master of science in animal science both from the University of Manitoba. Originally from a small farm in rural Manitoba, she now lives in Winnipeg with her husband and three children.
