Vion Food Group acquires Eastman Gel
It has been announced that on 30 December, Vion Food Group acquired Eastman Gel from Eastman Kodak Company.
Eastman Gelatine Gel is based in Peabody (Massachusetts), USA.
Eastman Gel joins Rousselot, a part of the core business of Vion Ingredients. This acquisition strengthens the position of gelatin producer Rousselot in the growing pharmaceutical market and strengthens its current global position, particularly in the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
Eastman manufactures gelatin gel for the photographic, pharmaceutical and food processing industries. Eastman Gelatine Gel produces 5500 tonnes per year and has 95 employees.
