01-12-2011 | |

Novus International Inc. will present a landmark keynote presentation at the 7th biennial World Agricultural Forum’s Congress (28 Nov – 1 Dec) where the future of agriculture, broader application of existing technologies and innovations will be discussed by industry, government and civil society.

Company president and CEO, Thad Simons, will address how the intersection of animal health and nutrition will be a key driver to sustainably meeting future food production demands.

“Future growth in production efficiencies will be achieved through a focus on animal health that delivers improved performance and addresses multiple dimensions of sustainability,” states Simons. “That includes identifying best management practices through a combination of genetics and nutrition.”

The Congress is the leading platform to develop coalition support for priority solutions to global challenges linked to integrative role of agriculture — the economy growth, energy cost and availability, climate change, jobs and hunger.

“We are positioning ourselves to provide sustainable solutions to meet the world’s food demands,” says Simons. “We work with our customers, both large and small; to optimize production efficiencies which means that population pressures on land, water and air quality are reduced.”
Novus International, Inc. is headquartered in metropolitan St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. and serves customers in more than 90 countries around the world.
