China: pork production regions
The majority of people in China enjoyed an improved lifestyle in recent years. Consequently they consumed more and better quality food, including meat. Despite the current global financial crisis, this trend will not change dramatically, demanding the production of more food. Therefore the Chinese government allocated specific production regions to satisfy the domestic demand by the year 2015.
