People changes at Danisco Animal Nutrition
Danisco Animal Nutrition is pleased to announce
changes within the company's management and research team.
James Laughton, previously President for Danisco Animal Nutrition, has been
appointed Executive Vice President for Danisco Animal Nutrition, Food and
Beverage enzymes. His responsibilities have been extended to include developing
the enzyme business for both animal feed and human food applications.
Dr
Andrew Harker, previously Director for Marketing and Technical Services has been
promoted to Business Unit Director - Danisco Animal Nutrition, responsible for
the business' sales, marketing and technical service functions.
The company also announced two new appointments - Nick Hewens, Director for
Product Management and Dr Lorraine Salmon, Scientist.
Nick, who has more than 20 years product management experience in the food
and healthcare industries, will be responsible for overseeing Danisco Animal
Nutrition's new product development process, minimising the time to market of
new product and service solutions for Danisco's customers.
Further
strengthening Danisco's Research team, Lorraine, who has a BSc Hons in
Agriculture with Animal Science from Harper Adams University College, UK and a
PhD from the University of Newcastle, UK, will be responsible for advancing
developments in Danisco's feed enzyme product portfolio. Both based in
Marlborough, UK, Lorraine reports to Dr Howard Simmins, R&D Director and
Nick reports to Andrew Harker, Business Unit Director for Danisco Animal
Nutrition.
