PCV2: Causal agent of PMWS
Porcine corcovirus2 is now established as the causal agent of PMWS, and economically important disease of pigs worldwide. The virus has also recently been associated with reproductive problems in herds in
Canada and Europe. The vat majority of PCV2 infections, however, are
sub-clinical. Is stimulation of the immune system of young pigs an important factor in the development of clinical disease following infection with the virus?
