Vion Food appoints new CFO
Vion Food announced that it has appointed Kenaad B. Tewarie as Vion Food’s chief financial officer.
Tewarie will start work on 1 September 2013 and will report to CEO Vion Food Stefaan Vansteenkiste.
Tewarie is currently the CFO/CIO of Euretco, the Netherlands’ largest retail-service organisation where he is co-responsible for strategy and policy. At Euretco, he successfully supervised the merger with and the integration of the retail-service organisation Intres.
From 2001 to 2007, he worked as CFO and member of the board of directors of the Laurus supermarket organisation. Prior to this, he was a member of the board of directors of beef producer Weyl. He has wide ranging international management experience in the fields of finance, tax, treasury, ICT, M&A in food and non-food.
