Misset International promoted Zana van Dijk as the new deputy editor for its global title on dairy production, Dairy Global.

Zana van Dijk has been working for the publishing company since July 2007 – at that time the publishing house was still part of Reed Business Information. She spent various years in sub- and web editing for the various international agricultural titles and over the years gathered a deep insight and interest into this business. When her predecessor Emmy Koeleman left, she took this opportunity to have a more significant role in the Dairy Global brand.

Online content editor

Originally coming from Cape Town, South Africa, Mrs Van Dijk graduated from the University of Western Cape in holds a BA in e.g. Journalism and English. She then started her career as online content editor at South Africa’s leading media company Media24, before moving over to the UK to work as an online editor for Roehampton University in London until 2006.

She commented, “I am very pleased about this new position and being part of the multimedia Dairy Global brand. To highlight important industry topics and events and to be able to relay that information to dairy farmers and dairy professionals around the world is an exciting position to be in.”

Many years of experience in agricultural editing

He continued to say, “Misset is working on new initiatives in those markets, such as the large knowledge events ‘About Future Farming’, in cooperation with Wageningen University & Research, the Netherlands (5-7 November), as well as ‘World Mycotoxin Forum Meets Asia’ in Bangkok, Thailand (13-15 January 2020). We are listening to the demand of the markets all over the globe and will add additional opportunities in print, online and events to serve these needs.”
