Pork and bacon packing operations shuts down
It has been confirmed that a Norfolk meat processing
factory will close in two months time, resulting in over 500 people loosing
After more than 40 years, Tulip announced that has plans to shut down its
fresh pork and Danepak bacon packing operations in Thetford, England.
The multinational company, a part of the Danish Crown group, revealed it
had been unable to find a viable alternative to closing the plant and will
complete the transfer of production to other UK sites by the end of
