Vietnam: Blue-ear pig disease spreading, more provinces affected

Another three provinces in Vietnam have been affected by Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV), also known as blue-ear pig disease.
 
With the newly affected provinces (Kien Giang, Ben Tre and Can Tho), the total number areas known to have been detected with blue-ear disease is currently 24.  
 
It has been reported that all sick pigs to date have been culled by the Animal Health Department in order to stop the disease from spreading even further.
 
 
 
All the current affected areas:
Nghe An, Cao Bang, Soc Trang, Tien Giang, Lao Cai, Long An, Binh Duong, Bac Lieu, Quang Nam, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Da Nang, Vinh Long, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Hau Giang, Lam Dong, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, An Giang, Dong Thap, Can Tho, Ben Tre, Kien Giang
