Schauer launches liquid pig feeding system on US market

//16 Jun 2010
Austrian livestock equipment company Schauer has announced moved into the US market for electronic liquid feeding equipment for pigs.

The Austrian company, headquartered in Prambachkirchen, has already established a market position in the USA supplying dry feed equipment and sorting sluices, e.g. by its Compident Electronic Sow Feeding product range.

Supplying liquid feed equipment is mainly a result of increased interest to liquid feeding solutions due to higher feed prices, explained Franz Bauer, sales manager at Schauer, at the latest edition of the World Pork Expo, in Des Moines, Iowa, USA.

Schauer works in the USA through agents like Automatic Production Systems and Pals.

More information on the company's liquid feeding range can be found in this leaflet on liquid feeding for pigs.
