The animal protection agency SNPA discovered the animals last Tuesday after
authorities were alerted to a strong foul smell by a
neighbour.
Alongside the pigs, the animal protectors discovered two
dogs, a goat, a few cats, quite a number of hares and chinchillas. According to
the neighbour, "some of the animals had been enclosed in this small house for at
least ten years". The agency took all the animals under its protection.
