PIC appoints new distributor for Greece & Cyprus

//14 Apr 2010
PIC announced the appointment of Nuevo SA to be its new Distributor for Greece and Cyprus.
Nuevo, based in Evia, serves the pig and poultry markets in the fields of feed, genetics, animal health and the provision of quality technical service.

Speaking at the AGRA Show in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in late February where the contract was signed, John Alexander (PIC’s International Franchise & Business Development Manager) commented that “PIC genetics have been sold in Greece and Cyprus for many years and we welcome the opportunity to work with Nuevo to grow business in these two important markets. I believe that the combination of PIC’s high quality genetics and the dynamic and technically skilled Nuevo team will bring added value to our customers.”

The first shipment of gilts and boars was delivered in early March and a Roadshow is planned for the summer in Greece.  This will showcase recent developments in PIC’s genetic programme and also emphasise the economic value of utilising improved genetics and quality technical support to improve customer profitability.
