CCPA introduced a new method to test the oxidative stress level in chickens.
Big Dutchman introduced MixPump, a new automatic liquid feeding system for piglets and finishers. The company received two Innov'SPACE awards for the innovation for the system which works without tank, agitator and weighing system.
French animal reproduction company Genes Diffusion launched Kit Collect, which essentially is an artificial sow vagina for automatic collection of boar semen.
Animal health company Elanco launched FirstTest, a rapid on-farm test kit for veterinarians. This way, the presence of Lawsonia intracellularis in pigs or Clostridium perfringens in poultry can be detected within 1.5 hours and 15 minutes respectively.
Jyga Technologies, based in Quebec City, Canada, received two Innov'SPACE stars for Gestal FM, a wireless individual feeding system for lactating sows. The product has been on the US and Canadian market for several years.
Verbakel, from the Netherlands, introduced MultiFeeder, a feeding system for pigs which can serve either dry feeding, liquid feeding or both. The product offers flexibility and the possibility to combine the best of both worlds.
