Pfizer launches swine influenza virus website

//29 Jun 2009
In the wake of Swine Influenza Virus (SIV) challenges, Pfizer Animal Health has launched a new website for the FluSure XP™ vaccine, www.FluSureXP.com.

"FluSure XP is part of a complete defense system which offers solutions for managing SIV," said Michael Kuhn, DVM, senior veterinary services veterinarian for Pfizer Animal Health. "We are proud to make available a website for producers and veterinarians that is a comprehensive resource on both the FluSure XP vaccine and Swine Influenza Virus".

The new website contains information on the FluSure XP vaccine, such as how the virus strains within were chosen, efficacy and challenge studies, information about Amphigen® – Pfizer Animal Health's patented adjuvant, as well as technical bulletins that are available for download.

The site also contains a section titled "All About SIV". The section provides a history of flu, an SIV library with studies and research on the virus, a glossary of relevant terms and an archive of articles about SIV that is continually updated to provide current information.
