New technical director for Topigs USA

Topigs has announced the appointment of Dr John Eggert as technical director of Topigs USA.
Dr Eggert will be responsible for the technical aspects of the further product and business development of Topigs activities in the United States.
 
John Eggert has broad experience in pig genetics. Before joining Topigs - he worked for several years for genetic companies like Newsham and Monsanto Choice Genetics as Director of Research.
 
Commenting on his new job, John said: "I am excited about working for such a high quality and worldwide leading company as Topigs. The products and the concepts of the company have enormous potential for the US market.’’

The knowledge and experience he has, combined with his solid background and enthusiasm, make John the best choice for this position," said Peter van Kemenade, Regional director of Topigs International. "His input will be of great value for the development of Topigs in
North America.’’
 
Dr Eggert’s position as technical director was effective from16 August 2010.
