Swine production book launched

The so-named father of the Philippine Swine Industry,
Dr. Valentino Argañosa, has launched a book titled "The Science, Technology and
Practices in Swine Production."
The book, co-authored by Dr. Oscar Gatmaitan and Dr.
Edwin Luis, aims to provide fundamental knowledge and practical applications on
swine production. Written in English, it also includes illustrations and graphs
for easy comprehension to serve as textbook – end — all guide to raising hogs –
for students engaged in swine sciences.
The book launching was held during the INAHGEN 2008: The Asean Farmers Congress at the SMX Convention Center, SM Business Park, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.
