Excentials BV introduces Industrias Vepinsa as exclusive distributor for Mexico and Central America

Excentials BV (Werkendam, the Netherlands), a European based specialty feed additives supplier, subsidiary to Orffa International Holding B.V., announces its collaboration with Industrias Vepinsa SA de CV (Los Mochis, Mexico) to develop sales and marketing of its’ Excential product range in Mexico and Central America.
Both companies have strong competences in sourcing, production and marketing and sales of technical feed additives. Vepinsa’s long history and experience with natural pigments for animal nutrition is well recognized by Excentials. Both companies have similar strategies, working with high quality products, supplying full technical backup and respecting local market needs and wishes.
 
Excentials’ portfolio consists of a full range of specialty feed additives branded under the Excential name, including products such as betaine, target-release sodium butyrate, L-selenomethionine, emulsifiers, mycotoxinbinders, rumenprotected vitamins and others. Products are supported by a full technical dossier and support can rely on Orffa’s widespread and long-term experience in product development and technical marketing. Markets for cooperation include Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Belize.
 
Orffa CEO Eddy Ketels comments: “Cooperating with Vepinsa allows us to have a good entree for introduction of the Excential feed additives range with all stakeholders in the region and matches our strategy for international growth”. These comments are subscribed by Juan Pablo Castanon, CEO of Vepinsa: “We have well trained staff which is now working on our key product of natural pigments. Extending our portfolio with the Excentials’ range is fully complementary and allows us substantial growth in our domestic markets”.
 
The first introduction of this cooperation was promoted at FIGAP/VIV America Latina (October, 2010) in Guadalajara (Mexico). Vepinsa’s staff have enjoyed full technical training on all the products concerned. Arno van der Aa, Business Development Manager at Excentials: “The technical training sessions were very interesting. At certain points even on the smallest details explanation was requested. This strengthens our confidence in the high technical level of Vepinsa’s staff level and also gave already a lot of suggestions based on their thorough market knowledge, which can be used for development of market specific concepts”. After the exhibition joint customer visits took place, which were received with great enthusiasm, showing the big potential of this cooperation.
