The signing took place on On January 19th. Elite will operate the PIC franchise separately from their own production and trading business.
This take over by Elite Varkens bv fits PIC’s strategy aimed at optimising business results in
local markets by looking for (franchise) partners that can operate the business with high
knowledge and insights in the local market where appropriate.
As an established company involved in the pig industry in the Netherlands, Elite Varkens bv brings experience with and expertise of both the local market and the PIC products. Elite Varkens bv is therefore well placed to support new and existing PIC customers in the best possible way.
PIC will continue to provide marketing and technical support to the business in the
Netherlands ensuring access to top level genetics and PIC’s international know-how.
The name of the new business is yet to be determined.
