The location, Slavonski Brod, near the border with Bosnia-Herzegovina, is owned by Željko Kurkutovic. The facility, which is expected to produce 12,000 finishers/year, was equipped by German pig equipment company Big Dutchman.
The new piggery includes e.g. a liquid manure system, dry feeding equipment and ventilation. Five years ago, Kurkutovic had a finishing house equipped by Imex-Bjelovar, the German company’s sales representative in Croatia.
