This time the ASF virus was found in pigs at a private property. Immediately, in the surrounding farms, about 100 animals were culled and the area was quarantined, the Russian federal agency for animal and plant health reported.
It is the fourth ASF outbreak in this republic since the middle of 2008 – and many more have occurred in the South of Russia.
