At the VIV Europe in Moscow, Intervet / Schering Plough Animal Health will, for the first time, present the new combined company to a large audience.

 
At the Crocus Exhibition Centre, Hall 7, Booth 28J1, the new company shows you the swine and poultry animal health portfolio with complimentary lines of pharmaceuticals, biologicals and innovative services.
Intervet / Schering Plough Animal Health will offer a seminar that will be of specific interest to those in the pig industry:
Tuesday May 27, 13.30-16.00, Congress Hall G, Swine Health specialists will give an update on the latest developments related to respiratory and enteric diseases.

John Gadd: PRRS – The disease which keeps bugging us

It certainly does! I’ve just read an excellent review under the above title by Jeff Zimmerman of Iowa State University given to the London (Ontario) Swine Conference 2008. In common with so many of the erudite papers on the disease during the past 5 years, it covers epidemiology (veterinary-speak for what can cause disease) excellently.  Read more...
