Novus signs agreement with biotech firm

Novus International, Inc. announced a worldwide agreement today with emerging biotechnology company BioResource International, Inc (BRI). The signed agreement states that Novus will be the exclusive worldwide marketer for BRI’s patented enzyme technologies.

 

"We are pleased to enter into this partnership with Novus International to bring value through improved feed efficiency solutions to the global market," stated Dr. Giles Shih, Co-founder and President of BioResource International, Inc. "Novus brings strong customer relationships, technical expertise in all areas of animal production, and a wide ranging global reach that complement BRI’s strengths in the area of biotechnology development and innovation."

BRI’s enzymes provide animal producers with an excellent source of versatile and pellet stable enzymes that allow them to achieve improved animal performance and greater flexibility in dietary formulations. "Novus is excited about bringing this technology into our CIBENZA feed additive enzyme portfolio.  It represents a strong strategic fit for our overall portfolio and is aligned with our drive to bring advanced feed technologies to the market," stated Giovanni Gasperoni, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Sales.
