There seems to be no hiding: the ‘long arm’ of the European Union is stretching over Europe’s (intensive) livestock production. The Directive on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) issued already in 1996, has to be implemented in all 27 EU member states. What exactly is behind the IPPC Directive?
