UK: Changes and opportunities at BPEX

There have been some changes in responsibility for BPEX personnel which take effect in the autumn.

Charlotte West has been appointed as technical innovation manager while Richard Bows, currently knowledge transfer (KT) manager in the east will be moving to become the KT manager in the North.

Bows’ move to the northern region follows Steve Winfield, currently KT Team leader and KT manager for the north, taking on a national KT key account management role.

BPEX is therefore currently recruiting for two new KT managers to join the team covering the south and east regions.

BPEX is also in the process of recruiting a Field Trials Coordinator, Environment and Building Business Support team member and a Veterinarian.

Head of technical Andrew Knowles said: “BPEX has undergone a major re-organisation to meet the changing needs of the industry and its customers.

“In order to deliver the new BPEX Strategy ‘Going for Growth’ we have created some exciting new opportunities within a newly established technical team.

“However the overall size of the team is smaller than the previous structure as part of BPEX’s commitment to deliver value for money to its customers.”

More details of all these roles can be found on the AHDB website, here.
