Nutreco CFO will retire

Nutreco announced that Gosse Boon will succeed Cees van Rijn on 30 September 2011 as the chief financial officer of Nutreco.

Mr van Rijn, who joined Nutreco as CFO and member of the Executive Board in 2001, will retire after ten years on that date.
 
Mr Gosse Boon started his career at the corporate head office of Unilever in 1983, where he gained broad experience in a large international listed company. In the period 1990-2000 he worked as Corporate Controller for Unilever in the United States and as financial director of Unilever Chile and Unilever Brasil. In the period 2000-2004 he was managing director at Johnson Diversey Netherlands. In 2006-2009 he was CFO of Van Gansewinkel Groep. He joined Nutreco in June 2010 as programme manager for Unite, a company wide initiative to standardise and optimise business processes and management information.
 
Mr Boon is also member of the Supervisory Board and chairman of the audit committee of Vion Food Group.
 
Mr Boon graduated from the Erasmus University in Business Economics and Dutch Law and is a Certified Public Accountant (RA). The appointment of Mr Boon to the Executive Board will be proposed by Nutreco’s Supervisory Board during the next General Meeting of Shareholders on 28 March 2011.
