African Swine Fever may have hit Armenia
According to the Armenian Ministry of Agriculture, African Swine Fever (ASF) may be a threat currently in Lorut, the northern province of Lori. Armenian media reports have stated that pigs may have already died of ASF.
Months ago, experts warned that the community should keep pigs indoors so that reinfection does not occur. However, similar symptoms of ASF could be seen, while the community implemented measures in the area months ago to prevent the disease.
