Kemin China celebrates 10th anniversary
Kemin Industries, Inc. celebrated its 10th year of manufacturing feed ingredients in China yesterday with customers and government officials during a technical seminar, tour of the Kemin China facilities and dinner reception.
Kemin's commitment to the development of China's feed industry began as early as 1982 when the company held its first technical seminar in China. The establishment of Kemin China and the world-class Zhuhai manufacturing facility in 2000 has enabled Kemin to better meet the ever increasing demands for its products and services in the local market.
“The establishment of Kemin China has brought us closer to our customers, increasing the quality of service and customer satisfaction,” says Zhilin Gan, president of Kemin China.
Kemin's philosophy is to address market needs with science and education combined with superior product solutions, resulting in mutually-beneficial partnerships based on a strong foundation of trust.
“I am pleased to be in Zhuhai celebrating Kemin China's dedication and commitment to the feed industry,” says Chris Nelson, Ph.D., president and CEO of Kemin Industries, Inc. “We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of the Chinese feed industry and look forward to the continued collaboration and success ahead.”
Guests of the anniversary celebration had the opportunity to hear from industry and Kemin experts during a technical seminar this morning held in the Dynasty Palace in the Holiday Resort Hotel. Following the seminar and lunch, guests travelled to the manufacturing facilities in Zhuhai for a tour of the Kemin campus. The celebration concluded with a formal reception and dinner at the Holiday Resort Hotel.
Kemin China recently completed the first phase of a 7-year long facility expansion. The expanded facility nearly doubled the production and storage space adding 1,924 square meters to the existing facility. When the final expansion is complete in 2015, Kemin China will also have added food grade manufacturing capabilities.
