Dutch EU's biggest pig exporter in 2005
The Netherlands was the European Union's biggest exporter of piglets and
finishers in 2005.
The Dutch took care of almost 45% of all piglet exports within the EU. In
finishers, the export percentage was 34%.

data created by the statistical service of Eurostat - having no data about last
According to Eurostat
approximately 6.8 million piglets were transported from one country to another
within the EU. Dutch exporters took care of 44.7% of these - the Danes were
runners-up, transporting about 40%.
