Clued-up on bovine colostrum for piglets

Colostrum is a very complex liquid containing numerous components of high value to the newborn piglet. However, the litter hierarchy may prevent all piglets from getting maximum benefit. To avoid colostral deprivation situations, the similarities between procine and bovine colostrum have been investigated.
