IPVS 2012 Mobile Web launched for upcoming Jeju congress

The upcoming International Pig Veterinary Congress in Jeju in South Korea offers a new mobile app to make life of all delegates simple and overseeable.

A Mobile Web app is launched to provide notices, the scientific programme, author information, social programmes, poster information and local information about Jeju island.

Registration for the biannual pig veterinary congress closed on April 30. On-site registration is still possible for 800,000 South Korean won (€540 – US$692).

This year’s theme of the congress, held 10-13 June in ICC Jeju, South Korea, is ‘Happy pigs, happy people’. Expected attendance is about 3,000. Read more about the Congress in this article.

This year’s Tom Alexander Memorial Lecture will be given by Dr Dan Tucker, University of Cambridge, UK. Another keynote lecture will be given by Dr Julio Pinto, animal health officer at the FAO in Italy.
