The 18th IPVS congress for swine veterinarians, held in Hamburg, Germany from
June 27 till July 1st broke a record with over 2000 attendants and over 850
papers and posters presented. This year's focus was on healthy animals for
wholesome pork, including food safety issues, consumer demands and the changing
role for today's swine veterinarians.
