27-06-2012 | | |

Trouw Nutrition International launched a new website for its Farm-O-San brand, providing a source of information for farmers seeking to prevent or tackle health problems in their animals.

Trouw Nutrition International, a subsidiary of Nutreco, has launched a new website, www.farmosan.com, aimed at providing farmers with information on animal health.

Farm-O-San Animal Health Products offers nutritional solutions specifically aimed at prevention and treatment of health problems with farm animals. Farm-O-San products are based on Nutreco R&D.
Many farmers are unaware how animal health products, containing e.g. vitamin and mineral supplements, can help to optimize the health of their animals. Information on health management will support the farmer to understand when and how animal health products can contribute to prevent or treat health issues. Subdivided over various themes (ruminants, poultry, swine and multi-species), the Farm-O-San website offers an overview of health issues and solutions, testimonials, downloadable reference material, product information and applications presented in  an easy, accessible way.

“The site is designed to strengthen our relationship as a partner for farmers. In supporting health management on their farm we can assist to keep animals in optimal condition in a sustainable way,” said Karin Jenniskens, regional product manager Animal Health Products. “We look forward to engaging our farmers and the broader nutraceuticals community online.”
