Trials to test the prevention of parasitic roundworm infections by the
use of herbal treatment are soon to be carried out by Wageningen
University's Animal Sciences Group (ASG) in the Netherlands.
The research is mainly focused on biological pig farming, as this sector is
not supposed to be using conventional ways of removing the worms.
ASG will test various mixes, containing thyme, lemon balm and black tea. The
